This is my hiking staff. My brother-in-law took my wife and I to Lost Maples one year and we had a hell of a time. Swimming in the Frio River, braving mosquitos, surviving a fire, and sleeping through blistering heat...I wouldn't change a thing!

Today we went on a hike, crossed a rope bridge and rode a bike on the trails. Life is good.

Race Day

Today my wife, nephew and I ran a relay race and we did pretty good. No awards but we got a taste of competition. My wife ran the first leg, I ran the second and my nephew ran the last and longest leg of the race. I'm proud of all of them especially my wife. Here she is at the finish line.
